Joker says: Why no killing today, Harvey?

I am officially taking a break from comics… by drawing more… comics.

I had a good time drawing this; finally getting a pleasant surprise in that I can actually draw faces, and like drawing them. :3 Recalling, that two or three months ago… my faces looked like a bowl of crumpled jelly (jell-o).

ARGH! Completely unoriginal; seeing as there are quite a few eye-drop related artworks on dA… Still, I thought of the strip immediately after watching Dark Knight, and it seems it didn’t just cross my mind. ;3

Extremely happy with panels one and two, Eckhart’s likeness seems to be there… might make an icon out of panel 2, tis lovely <3. Not quite sure what’s going on in panel three, it didn’t quite come out as I’d planned; originally, he was supposed to be checking if the coast is clear, but he came out as having some patriotic ’I believe in Harvey Dent’ moment. LOL! If you wanted to.., you could find that panel somewhat symbolic. I’m quite pleased for that unexpected result myself. ;3 <3

Panel four gave me a big urge to draw Joker, I shall guess without promising anything that Joker fan-comic shall be coming next. <3

Apologies for the gruesomeness, but I am a freak.. and I really liked that face design, so unintentionally gave it some extra lingering shots.

*giggles* I found that potato peeler especially funny, since my Stepmum used to know someone who was quite tough, and they’d go ‘I’m going down to the East end, with my potato peeler’. I found its cameo in the film very amusing, since it has become somewhat of an in-joke.


Total process: 9 hours (my eyes look a little like Two-face's now.. and hurt right about the same).

P.S. Not happy with one little thing.. too tired to change it. Fiddled endlessly with tweaks here and there till.. DAMN! It's 4am already?!
