Greetings, peoples!

A bit of an obscure one this time, so bear with me. ;3 A secret gallery I frequent, sets bi-weekly prompts, this time it was ‘Brothers’… so I decided to lob a single stone at two bunnies - both the weekly prompt as well as the desire to do some Darkwing Duck fanart - a superb Disney cartoon series from the mid-nineties.

Here, you see Darkwarrior Duck and Negaduck in the middle of a mild disagreement. Although, they aren’t technically brothers, they are in fact alternate reality twins …think Spock with a goatee. The relevance is in the fact that although Negaduck was the evil twin who’d rather solve a problem with a chainsaw, Darkwing Duck (older version of whom you see here) has displayed plenty of extremes of behaviour himself. Certainly enough to show that he isn’t all that different if pushed.

In the episode ‘Time and Punishment’, Darkwing’s adopted daughter vanishes due to a time-vortex, only to re-appear many years later to see what effect her absence has had on her father. The usually vain detective has degenerated into an insane do-gooder who rules his city with an iron fist, dealing hard punishment for even the smallest of trespasses …think, execution for not having the right change. He even goes as far as to aim a loaded gun at his daughter’s head, fully intending to use it. …Disney at its best…nyaw!.

Nothing too fancy technique-wise, but I did pen-tool the entire drawing to give it that cell-frame look… complete with badly-drawn dramatic background. Pen-tooled lineart made it very easy to apply colour holds (modified line-colour to supplement the shade).
